Belonging: An Indonesian Dancer's Story

Alfira O’Sullivan, Principle Dancer and Founder of the Suara Indonesia Dance Group, grew up in Sydney with her Indonesian mother and Irish Australian father.

Alfira O'Sullivan did all the quintessentially Aussie things that kids in Sydney do. But through her mother’s family, she also acquired a deep appreciation for her Indonesian ancestry through the power of language and dance.
